Investing in Wildlife

I am so proud to share that after years of planning, research, permitting, lining up general contractors and subcontractors, and designing our new facility and campus with architects and engineers, we are finally getting our building!  As you know, this is a long overdue and massive undertaking for our organization. We have raised $2.6M towards our $4.5M goal and have about $1.9M more to go!

Though the project is exciting and offers light at the end of the tunnel, we still power on in our cramped and inefficient indoor space.  Onsite programming canceled due to weather, and critical care patients that must endure the 1.5-hour round trip to the veterinarians for an X-Ray continue to illuminate what a ray of sunshine our new facility will be for wildlife and our community.  And staff wearing winter hats and jackets for hours until our overflow office space warms up showcases the fact that the new building will give our staff the working conditions they deserve.
